The NRP Summer Experience

We’ve built a summer program that gives players the opportunity to compete, develop, and travel — without overwhelming your schedule.

Players can participate in multiple tournaments while also training and improving throughout the summer.

How It Works

2. Tryouts & Evaluation

Players will attend tryouts or be evaluated through practices and early events.

3. Team Selection

Teams are built based on performance, availability, and team needs.

Summer Tryouts

NRP Astros Summer Tryouts are open for players ages 10U–13U looking to compete at a high level and be part of a structured, disciplined baseball program.

These tryouts are used to evaluate players for placement on NRP Astros Elite Tournament Teams for the 2026 summer season.

Players who do not attend tryouts will still have the opportunity to participate in NRP Astros Development Teams, where they will continue to train, compete, and be evaluated by our coaching staff throughout the season.

As players develop and are properly evaluated within our system, opportunities for advancement to higher-level teams may become available.

NRP Astros operates on a development through discipline model. Players are expected to compete, stay focused, and respond to coaching in a structured and competitive environment.

Tryout Details:

• Cost: $50 per player

• Includes: NRP Astros Tryout Shirt

• Ages: 10U–13U

• Players will be evaluated for Summer 2026 team placement

Nrp Summer Player Pool 2026

The NRP Astros Player Pool is the required first step for all players interested in participating in our Summer 2026 program.

Registration to the Player Pool provides access to:

Private Tryout Registration

NRP Developmental Sessions (Weekly Evaluations)

Summer Camps & Training Opportunities

Tournament Team Placement Consideration (10U–13U)

Players in the Player Pool will be evaluated through tryouts and/or developmental sessions, with final placement determined based on:

Age group

Experience level

Performance and consistency

Team needs and roster structure

NRP Astros is a high-standard, development-focused program. We prioritize:

Effort and energy

Coachability

Team-first mentality

Players will be challenged in a structured environment designed to promote growth, discipline, and competitive performance.

All official communication — including tryout access, scheduling, and program updates — will be sent directly to Player Pool families.
