The NRP Summer Experience

We’ve built a summer program that gives players the opportunity to compete, develop, and travel — without overwhelming your schedule.

Players can participate in multiple tournaments while also training and improving throughout the summer.

How It Works

2. Tryouts & Evaluation

Players will attend tryouts or be evaluated through practices and early events.

3. Team Selection

Teams are built based on performance, availability, and team needs.

Registration through the Player Pool is required Tournament participation is based on selection and availability A deposit is required to secure a roster spot Spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis after selection

Summer Tryouts

NRP Astros Summer Tryouts are open for players ages 10U–13U looking to compete at a high level and be part of a structured, disciplined baseball program.

These tryouts are used to evaluate players for placement on NRP Astros Elite Tournament Teams for the 2026 summer season.

Players who do not attend tryouts will still have the opportunity to participate in NRP Astros Development Teams, where they will continue to train, compete, and be evaluated by our coaching staff throughout the season.

As players develop and are properly evaluated within our system, opportunities for advancement to higher-level teams may become available.

NRP Astros operates on a development through discipline model. Players are expected to compete, stay focused, and respond to coaching in a structured and competitive environment.

Tryout Details:

• Cost: $40 per player

• Includes: NRP Astros Tryout Shirt

• Ages: 10U–13U

• Players will be evaluated for Summer 2026 team placement

Spots are limited. Registration is required to attend.

What Happens Next

Our staff will be reviewing all players as we move through the Perfect Game spring season.

We will be holding summer tryouts in late April through May, with an additional early June date if needed, to finalize tournament team rosters.

Once tryout dates are released, you will be contacted directly with registration details and next steps.

Team Placement

Each age group (10U–13U) will have its own tournament schedule, including Development and Elite team opportunities. Players will be placed based on: performance at tryouts ,overall fit

team needs, and structure
