The NRP Summer Experience
We’ve built a summer program that gives players the opportunity to compete, develop, and travel — without overwhelming your schedule.
Players can participate in multiple tournaments while also training and improving throughout the summer.
How It Works
1. Join the NRP Player Pool
Create your account and register your player in the NRP Player Pool.
This allows you to receive tournament invitations, communicate your availability, receive important program updates, and be considered for roster selection throughout the summer.
Registration in the Player Pool is required before any player can be invited to a tournament.
2. Tournament Invitations
Tournament invitations are sent through the Player Pool.
Families simply:
✅ Accept the invitation if available.
❌ Decline the invitation if unavailable.
Once registration closes, our coaching staff builds the most competitive roster possible based on player availability, team needs, and current performance.
3. Evaluation & Team Selection
Every practice and every tournament is part of our evaluation process.
Players are evaluated on:
• Baseball ability
• Effort and attitude
• Coachability
• Team-first mentality
• Attendance
• Availability
As our program continues to grow, players will naturally be placed on teams that best match their current level of development and competition.
ROAD TO THE USABL WORLD SERIES
July is championship month.
Our Elite teams compete in USABL Auto Qualifiers to earn a spot in the USABL Elite World Series.
Qualifying Format
• Reach the Semifinals = 2 Points
• Win the Tournament = 5 Points and an Automatic Bid
Teams may also qualify by earning the required number of points throughout the qualifying season.
Every qualifier gives our players another opportunity to earn a trip to one of the premier youth baseball events in the country.

World Series Roster Selection
USABL Elite World Series rosters are selected by the NRP coaching staff approximately one to two weeks before the tournament.
Roster selections are based on player evaluations throughout the summer, tournament performance, availability, team needs, and overall commitment to the program.
Every player has the opportunity to earn a spot.
Every practice matters.
Every game matters.
Every opportunity counts.

Summer Tryouts
NRP Astros Summer Evaluations Still Available
Missed our scheduled tryout dates? There is still time for your player to be evaluated for NRP Astros Summer Tournament opportunities.
As we continue building rosters for upcoming summer events, we are offering additional evaluation opportunities through our developmental training sessions and private evaluation process.
Developmental Evaluation Sessions
Players may attend any of the following sessions to be evaluated by our coaching staff:
10U & 11U
Mondays & Wednesdays
6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
12U & 13U
Tuesdays & Thursdays
6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
These sessions allow players to showcase their abilities in a competitive training environment while giving our staff an opportunity to evaluate baseball skills, athleticism, coachability, effort, and overall fit within the NRP Astros program.
Private & Small Group Evaluations
For families unable to attend our developmental sessions, we also offer:
• Individual Evaluations
• Small Group Evaluations (2 or more players)
Private evaluations are available by request only.
To request an evaluation, complete the player registration form and indicate that you would like to schedule a private evaluation. A member of our coaching staff will contact you directly to coordinate a date and time.

Summer tournament opportunities remain available across multiple age groups, and evaluations are ongoing as roster spots continue to be filled.
